Facebook added Send Button

Facebook has rolled out a new feature for its users called as the "Send" button which lets readers to share blog articles and content with your selective facebook friends. The Send button replaces the classic email to friend button.  The button is designed to make sharing content more easier.
This means that Facebook users can now send messages or content to the people or groups they want rather than sending out a bulk announcement .

According to the developers section of Facebook: “The Send Button allows your users to easily send your content to their friends. People will have the option to send your URL in an inbox message to their Facebook friends, to the group wall of any Facebook group they are a member of, and as an email to any email address."
